With Halloween almost here, many of us are thinking about what to wear and where to wear it!

There are so many different outfits available but if you wish to truly stand out then you will need something original!

Make-up is a great way to make an outfit pop and Halloween is an excuse to really push the boundaries!

Forget natural and go over the top with statement eyes and dramatic cheeks!  Lipshades should be blood red or even black depending on the outfit and eyes should be super defined and smokey!

If you want to look cute on Hallow’s eve, a great option is headwear.  Hair accessories are very much in at the moment and look über stylish in your locks.  Cat ears, horns or witches hats attached to hair bands.  Wear with a cute outfit such as a leotard and puff skirt, striped socks and back comb!

Now that the autumn and winter trends are fast coming into play, it is now the time to start experimenting with a few new styles.

This could be in the shape of a hot new lip colour such as a plum or red hue, a killer new pair of on-trend fur rimmed boots, wedges instead of skinny stiletto heels, a new pair of coloured denim jeans or anything else that tickles your fashion fancy on the fashion radar.

Jeans have taken centre stage in the past season, with hot orange, pink, washed out blue, red and an assortment of other shades.  Opt to tone down the shades for the winter season and choose a richer colour rather than a neon.

Team with a pair of this seasons must-have on-trend big boots!  Such boots go with just about everything and are both on the runway and now in the high street boutiques!

Such boots are most definitely designed to be seen and should never be hidden, always wear them over skinnies or with cutesy short skirts!

Just make sure you invest in a pair with one definite embellishment.  They should also offer either a wedge or cuban style heel, which makes them the perfect attire for the winter season.  This added extra comes in the shape of fur and can be lining the insides, the edges or come in the shape of tassle extras.

Further easy elegance can be found in the form of exceptional yet simple monochromatic dresses this summer.  Take a look at a few of this season’s catwalk stars in order to re-create a staple ensemble.  Whether you opt to choose the caramel leather at Akris, the heavy white yet adorably sophisticated cotton at Derek Lam, or the denim at Stella McCartney, there is one major rule this season and that is to stick to simple shapes that offer a very subdued and neutral palette.  This season is all about swapping the festival fashion for a little minimal style and refreshing our wardrobes in a simple yet striking way for the new season!

However if you prone to colour and can’t quite step away from it completely then add a splash of colour in the shape of reds and oranges, as such shades will work to complement your neutrals.

Balenciaga showcased some adorable must-have pieces this season, one of the fashion favorites seemed to come in the form of the oh so simple Carmine leather shorts.  Such a piece is a great investment as it works both in the summer, yet will still carry you forward to autumn/winter 2011-12!

If you are going tochoose to keep the colour in your style then keep the cut simple and clean.  Choose a vivid orange dress such as the ones seen at Victoria Beckham, Cacharel and Calvin Klein.  Keep the accessories expensive looking and subtle for best results.

A new event in the diary often calls for a new outfit, however buying into a one of piece can be a costly procedure and one that may allow you to look amazing on the evening but be out of pocket for the rest of the month.

This is why prior to investing in a new outfit, you should think about looking into something a little versatile and something that allows you to create a ‘wow’ outfit for the occasion yet one that can also mould into another outfit for a different occasion.

Clever detailing such as additions including opaque tights, cutesy jackets, statement jewellery and flats can dress up or dress down an outfit easily in a matter of minutes!

Summer dresses in floral prints are great for both summer and cooler months.  They can be worn with sandals during the warmer months and tights and jackets on a cooler day.  A biker belt, distressed boots and a leather jacket are all great options to turn a cute girly outfit into a biker enthused piece that is perfect for another look on a different day to a different occasion!

Heels are another great way to turn a daytime style into an evening look as they add instantly add height and sophistication to the ensemble!

Seventies is bigger than ever this season and appears to be hitting the catwalks hard!  Think Dior in flairs and you will have this style sorted, add a chiffon shirt, some knee high boots and a little faux fur to finish the look.

For a night time style, wear glitter and wedges.  This is a trend you can really have fun!  Don’t be scared to experiment with new things and going OTT is a must.

A faux fur coat and knee high leather boots are essential buys for winter and are must-have pieces for autumn 2011.  Other key items to invest in include a floppy style fedora, a spotty chiffon shirt, a pair of super flairs, a cute fur shoulder piece, a statement snakeskin clutch in a super hot colour and a pair of open toed tan cuban heels, which work just as well with jeans as they do with skirts and high waisted shorts.

Look to Dior on this season’s autumn and winter catwalks for a little style inspiration and really push the boat out!  Think glamour, brash and confident and work the seventies style to the max!

Whether you opt to choose a low key pastel colour palette or a hot hued attire, seventies is definitely a must-try trend for the new year and is a great way to really experiment with your look.  Try raiding your mother’s or Grandma’s wardrobe, you never know what little gems you may find in there!

Colour blocking is this summer’s hottest trend! Why not get ahead in the style stakes and invest in a few of this season’s in fashion shades!

Why not brighten up a few other assets asides from your closet! Make-up can make a big difference to your whole outfit, and this year is all about knocking down those barriers when it come to hot hues and bold brights.

Nail polish is also a great way to add a little brightness to an otherwise plain outfit, try to use a contrasting nail polish and really make the polish pop!

Now we have the flats covered, we are sure you will want to know all about the high heels!

This season is all about the rainbow enthused heels, this is certainly a shoe trend on par with Mac make-up and is brighter than ever!  However we have donned the conclusion that every pair is an investment.  As more colours intend to go with  more outfits!  This is certainly a great reason to pick up a pair and remember if you go for suedette opt for a hot hot hue as these will luxe up a budget look!

If you really want to take this trend to town then team your arm candy with your shoes.  Wear a hot hued polish in a different shade for extra style points.

Take some style notes from Nicole and Nik Reed, both have this trend nailed and were each seen sporting uber colourful rainbow heels at a recent awards!

Take a shot of the fashionistas from Asia.  They certainly know how to jazz up an otherwise subtle outfit if ever!

Apart from their wonderfully bright garments, the black Louboutin heels and Dior lady bags are very much in trend.  Colour is cool this season and we should all be taking inspiration from the catwalks.  Experiment with unexpected and individual combinations for best results.  Stack your wardrobe with the pick of the best bright skirts, dresses, jackets, and get ready to mix up your colour style combos.

With colour so hot right now, even the dull days are going to seem brighter, especially if the cat walks are anything to go by!

Florence went over the top on her tour this season and amazed crowds in some pretty sultry wardrobe choices!

It appears that the star is on very good terms with a very high-end designer.  Gucci have created some wowing pieces that Sarah Jessica Parker would be jealous off!  Lucky Florence is certainly at the top of the music charts as well as the fashion list and has even taken America by storm.  The singing sensation is said to have been causing quite a stir at her recent gigs.  This isn’t only because of her awe-inspiring voice but also her dresses.

The creative director behind the awesome designs is said to be a big name in fashion and also the creative director of the brand.  From long chiffon gowns to enormous over the top corsages, the singer certainly has this season’s top fashion styles nailed!

Frieda Giannini is the name behind these enviable pieces and our favourite piece has to be the lovely lemon creation that she wore complete with a immense off green flower that makes some of the flowers seen worn in Sex in the City positively bud-like!

Another must-have item that is most likely already on every fashionistas’ fashion wish list is the maroon flowing creation that houses two huge orange corsages that match the singers skin tone and hair shade perfectly and as an extra touch this little number was teamed with orange lip stick!  What we would do to step inside of this stars wardrobe…

Yes that trend you used to associate with the oldies is now hot off the runway for now!  Firstly, in order to create such a style, you will need to really work the backcombing in order to create the biggest bouffant ever!

With so many of the A-list working this style, it is no wonder we all want to give it a go for 2011.  The best thing about this style is you can work it into any ones locks!  Whether you have short, long, curly, frizzy, messy or fly away fine hair, this style can be worked into your locks.

Rhianna, Gwen Stefani and the Vivienne Westwood models are all sporting such a look, Salma Hayek and Bryce Dallas Howard offer a more low-key version and Vera Wang took it over board!  Vivienne Westwood even added a few extra clips to make it a little more individual and the best news, you to can create such a look in a few simple steps!

Firstly prep the mane with a volume root energiser; this will add texture to your beehive. 

Section the hair horizontally from ear to ear and then begin the backcombing!

Sweep the hair to one side and slide curby grips in vertically, roll the extra hair in. 

Finally spray with a gloss control hold and shine spray.  This will both gloss-up the style and hold it in place.  Voilla you have your very own beehive!
