For some the signifying note for the Christmas season is the Coco Cola advertisement, however for us fashion savvy individuals it’s the introduction of Claridge’s Christmas tree. John Galliano, for the second year running is to design Claridges’ renowned and much talked about Christmas tree.
Every Christmas the prestigious London hotel Claridges asks a very special somebody, obviously an extremely stylish somebody to design the hotel’s Christmas tree. This season, for the second time running, the infamous designer and fashion savvy John Galliano has taken up the challenge. Images of his revealed designs have just gone live and we have to say they are just a little special! His offerings however in standard Dior style the design showcases neither a fairy light nor an element of tinsel. This designer is certainly one that doesn’t ever conform to the expected.
The theme therefore has been labelled ‘Under The Sea’ and comes complete with an assortment of glittering embellished silver leaves, a series of beautiful coral creatures, sea horses and jelly fish.
So far there have only been glimpses of the designs revealed, we’ll just have to wait to see the ultimate finished piece! Like us I’m sure you can’t wait!
The tree will go live on the 25th November and will appear standing proudly in the foyer of Claridges.
