She’s got the look

She’s got the look

Models, singers, songwriters, the cast of reality TV shows…they all have the look, they also have a huge team of stylists behind them!  So how do we go about reaching such a style status without the hired help?

The answer is quite simple really.  Make sure you follow all the latest shows, any up and coming designers, tune into all the fashion media and always create a style that you not only suit but one that you also feel comfortable in.

Wearing a piece that may have cost a bomb and also features on all of the on-trend runways to date doesn’t instantly create a great outfit.  If you team it with the wrong accessories or it quite simply doesn’t suit your figure then chances are, you will look as uncomfortable as you feel.

Even wearing a simple piece that isn’t at the height of fashion can be brought up a notch!  Simply team with super embellished accessories or block colours and most importantly wear it with confidence!

Having confidence will in fact make you look and feel like a million dollars in whatever you are wearing!  Standing up tall with your back straight and your head held high will also make you look like a style icon and one that knows what’s on trend for now!  This is the case even if you are donning a past season outfit!  Work that confidence girlies!

Work your work wear

Work your work wear

When it comes to work wear, many of us may address such pieces as the drab parts of our wardrobes, however it doesn’t have to be that way!  This season’s work wear can be just as much a part of your wardrobe as your evening attire!

Take this season’s hot new must-see movie ‘Bad Teacher’ for example and look to Cameron Diaz for a few style notes when it comes to work wear.  The leading lady certainly shows us that by no means are your work attire pieces boring!  Heels are not just for an evening out on the tiles and can be teamed with a knee length skirt in order to create a sophisticated and sultry office outfit that will double up as evening outfit for drinks with the girls after work!

Work wear isn’t just about donning a pair of flat shoes, a plain shirt and a pair of black trousers, you can be just as stylish in the office as you can out of the office.  Add a bright belt and fitted floral belt to your every day suit.

Fitted blazers never seem to go out of fashion, why not team one over a vest top and a pair of smart linens as appose to your usual suit trousers and shirt.  This is a great low-key look that is more relaxed and the best bit, it goes just as well with sandals as it does with pumps.

Accessories are also a great part of every outfit and can really work to add an instant hit of colour to any outfit.  Try turquoise or white if you have a tan!
