On a budget but still on trend

There are so many fashions to hit the catwalk this season; it can often be a difficult task to keep up! Once you have purchased one thing, a new piece seems to be ruling the runways; however some of us are just not lucky enough to have it all…well unless we pick up a part time job as well as our full time job.

It is however possible to stay in style on a budget, a high trend look can be easily achieved by teaming old pieces with new pieces and high street fashion with high end fashion.

Adding accessories is also a great way to update a previously purchased piece, hair pieces, a cocktail ring, statement neck cuffs and dramatic brooches are just a few of the essentials that will turn a subtle outfit into a wow piece, it is also the perfect way to transform a daytime look into a style suitable for the evening.

Why not save your pennies for one major statement piece that will be an asset to your wardrobe, coinciding such a piece whether it is shoes, a bag, that must have dress or a new pair of on-trend harem pants with items you already have in your wardrobe is the perfect way to save. Just make sure you choose that piece carefully, opt for maybe a bag that will go with every outfit or a pair of killer heels that you can wear with the majority of items in your wardrobe. Splurging on something that can only be worn, as a one off is not the best way to budget as such an item can only be worn on a few occasions.

Lanvin’s artistic director, the infamous Alber Elbaz has reportedly stated that in the past he would never have dreamed of creating a mass-market collection, but the idea of H&M going luxury rather than Lanvin going public is what finally intrigued him to do so.

This has been an outstanding implementation, which shows how two companies at opposite ends of the spectrum can work really well together. This work relationship is said to be so strong due to the fact both names share the same philosophy of transporting both joy and beauty to men and women around the world.
