Another great stay is the Cambrian at Alelboden in Switzerland.  Think log piled walls, mountainous scenery, picturesque views and giant windows.  The crisp white bed linen and cosy blankets are enough to make you stay in doors however!  The best feature of this particular ice palace also offers a dine in igloo and an outdoor thermal heated pool, it most fun asset however is the full-moon sledding.

Morealps in La Rosiere, France comes in the shape of an assortment of cutesy yet very private chalets, offering wooden floors, balconies with breath taking views, Jacuzzis and saunas.  This is most definitely the perfect place for stylish couples

A new season almost certainly means investing in a new wardrobe, or at lest a few must-have essentials to spruce up your look.  Take a few style notes from this years ultimate catwalk shows and inject your closet with a much needed cleanse.  Be sure to invest in a few key on trend pieces that will last you for months and take you right into winter by taking note of what you need to buy, keep and put away for later.

The runways have certainly been awash with an array of statement and extravagant pieces, however many are only for the daring fashionista.  For the rest of us there is the alternative of turning the runway into a reality.  You can make the eccentric looks of this season work in the real world by tweaking a few items here and there.  For instance team those must-have yet boldly embellished statement thigh high boots with a low key jacket and neutral coloured skirt or alternatively work an out there jacket with a plain pair of leggings and statement patent shoes.  By wearing just one key and over the top piece rather than several you can make what’s on the cat work for everyday wear.

Ski-Style 2010Whether you are a pro on the slopes or you are just hitting the snow for fun, this season’s skiwear promises attire that is both professionally finished and highly technical and as these garments are being designed by well-known athletes we would expect nothing less! 
The high-tech materials these items are being created in boast to keep the wearers body temperature at a high even on the coldest of days.  Materials such as soft-shell are extremely durable and have a high resistant to water exposure, but at the same time allow for free movement.  Metallic properties and synthetic fibres maintain the body temperature whilst Polartec allows full breathability in the shape of two-way air exchange.
Designs have both been created in clean contemporary cuts as well as more casual styles, with added details such as zippers, logos and buttons.  For a more elegant twist on this seasons ski style, some manufacturers have opted for a high-fashion look in the form of cashmere accessories.
Colour is both daring and bold this season, those taking to the slopes shouldn’t be afraid to clash hot pinks with bright yellows.  The new colours range from burnt oranges and sulphur yellows to storm greys and powerful purples.
As well as this season’s ski attire playing on bold and in your face colour palettes, they are also big on print, with chessboard patterns, geometric shapes, pixel prints, micro images and herringbone adorning either a small area of the garment or the entire surface.  Camouflage and leopard designs have also made an appearance, bringing back an essence of the eighties to the slopes.
Another new addition comes in the shape of ‘Rock Chic’ style and offers garments created in wet-look materials that almost appear leather.  An element of fur added to an ensemble creates a classic look that is also set to be big this season.
